The Walk among the olive trees is a widespread event organized by the National Association of Olive Oil Cities throughout Italy at the end of October and involves most of the municipalities in the Chianti region.

All the municipalities in the Chianti area are in fact members of the Association.

On the chosen day, events, tastings, and meetings are organized in the participating municipalities.

Among the activities, there are walks dedicated to families and enthusiasts to discover the places and landscapes related to the history and culture of oil in the Chianti area.

Each municipality chooses a route to be followed that ends in an oil mill or olive oil company, where participants are offered a tasting of typical products.

The Walk among the olive trees is an opportunity to rediscover the ties with the land and the local traditions of Chianti.
