Chianti Ultra Trail is the event that kicks off the sports events in Chianti Classico.

It takes place in March and is a weekend dedicated to trail and marathons, with various types of routes throughout the territory of Chianti Storico. 

Starting from the capital Radda in Chianti, it is possible to cross the territories of Chianti Fiorentino and Chianti Senese while admiring all their features: from the gentle hills crowded with vineyards and olive groves to the forest paths that climb up Mount San Michele. 

During the weekend, it is also possible to participate in Chianti Ultra Wine: a series of tastings that take place between the Casa del Chianti and the wineries of the area open to all those who love good wine.
