The Museum of the Radio

The Museum of the Radio in Barberino Tavarnelle consists in a collection of 270 radio equipments and appliances from different ages and places in the world.
Visitors will be led through technologycal evolution of shapes and mostly of instruments that radiophony has been using in civil and military aims.
These instruments tell about men and women, their wit, intuitions and revolutionary ideas.
The museum also hosts a temporary exposition space showing events and situations where Radio appliances were protagonists.
The hole collections is the result of our citizen’s passion, Mr. Daniele Camiciottoli, his neverending love for Radio, with the collaboration of municipal administration.
