The Landscape Museum of Castelnuovo Berardenga has been housed since 1999 in a late nineteenth-century building that was used until a few decades ago as a public slaughterhouse.

The Landscape Museum is equipped with mobile devices that help deepen the relationship between landscape, art, architecture, and literature. It also features an olfactory station, a didactic section, and a space where visitors can taste local wines with a view to understanding and promoting the territory.

The visit is completed by a consultation area dedicated to the Archive of Memory, which collects testimonies and documents on the history and development of the Chianti landscape and a large space on the first floor for temporary exhibitions.
